Greenbuild is excited to announce that the Honorable Shaun Donovon, current Secretary for Housing and Urban Development, and environmentalist, entrepreneur and journalist Paul Hawken will give keynote addresses at the closing plenary session of Greenbuild 2010.
Honorable Shaun Donovan
Secretary Donovan, who previously headed New York City's Department of Housing Prevention and Development and served as the Clinton administration's Deputy Assistant Secretary for Multifamily Housing, is championing green building and sustainable development in his new role at HUD.
Paul Hawken
A pioneer of socially responsible business, Mr. Hawken has founded several successful companies, including Erewhon Trading Company, America's first natural foods company, and has also written extensively on ecologically responsible business practices.
The first 5,000 full conference attendees to register for Greenbuild will receive a copy of the re-release of Mr. Hawken's book, The Ecology of Commerce: A Declaration of Sustainability.
