2011 GreenTech@Greenbuild

Thursday, Oct. 6
8:30 a.m.-12 p.m.

Opening Speakers:
David Gottfried, CEO of Regenerative Ventures, Inc.
Chris Pyke, VP of Research, USGBC

To increase awareness and accelerate the mainstreaming of emerging disruptive technologies, USGBC and Regenerative Ventures, Inc. created GreenTech@Greenbuild. Regenerative Ventures researched the cleantech market and selected 30 top companies to present their exceptional solutions for the building industry.

To open the summit a group of venture capitalists discussed the GreenTech trend. Then parallel tracks of 5 rapid-fire presentations by top-level members of each company alternated with 20–minute networking sessions. A dynamic presentation using USGBC’s new Green Building Info Gateway (GBIG) program linked featured companies to LEED projects where their products or services were used. Attendees received a ‘flip book’ describing each featured company.

GreenTech@Greenbuild was an exclusive opportunity to learn about a host of new ideas and products. There was no better place to meet so many innovative people so focused on innovative ways to improve the performance of buildings. The list of participants and order of presentations is included below. There were two parallel tracks of presentations by featured companies, in two adjacent rooms. Track A will be in Salon A, and Track B in Salon B of the Fairmont Ballroom.
