In what city is Greenbuild 2011 being hosted?
In Toronto, Ontario at the
Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Greenbuild will be hosted in both the north and south buildings of the convention center.
Where can pick up my conference materials?
All of your conference materials will be available for pick up in the Volunteer Office on-site, not at the general registration area.
Do I have to complete my 8 hours before I attend the conference?
No, you do not. You are able to pick up your conference materials as soon as the office is open and can attend the conference after that.
What are the hours of the Volunteer Office?
The hours will announced in September 2011
What do I do if there are no jobs available?
If there are no jobs available, simply stop by the Volunteer Office to what shifts are available. Please be aware that if you register for the conference, but do not fulfill your 8 hour volunteer requirement you will be charged the student late rate of $350.
Why do I need a credit card to register?
If you do not fulfill your 8 hour volunteer requirement you will be charged the student late rate of $350. If you have to cancel but do not attend the conference, you will not be charged
How do I schedule or change my shift?
You will be able to do so once the Greenbuild Scheduler opens in June.
What kind of jobs will be available?
Greenbuild hosts a wide variety of jobs including: recycling stations, LEED workshops, education sessions, badge checking at meals, green building tours and more.
