Volunteer in San Francisco!

The success of Greenbuild is due in no small part to the efforts of the many volunteers who give their time and energy each year toward organizing and staffing the event.

We are excited to offer you the opportunity to become a part of this great event. The time that you spend volunteering is greatly appreciated and we will do everything that we can to make sure that your volunteer and conference experience is a meaningful.

When: Volunteer opportunities are from Nov 1-Nov 10, 2012
Where: Moscone Center – San Francisco

Volunteer Registration will open in August, 2012. Until then, please provide your information so that can let you know when registration opens.

Volunteer Requirements

• Volunteers must be a full time student or professional age 25 and under
• You must volunteer a minimum of eight hours

When you check into the volunteer room, a fall 2011 schedule or a photo ID will be necessary depending on which qualification the volunteer is participating under. Full time student is 12 credits undergraduate, and nine credit graduate.

What volunteers will receive once time is fulfilled

You will receive free admission to the conference, which will provide exciting educational opportunities on the latest in the green building movement, and amazing networking opportunities for students and professionals. This includes access to the opening keynote, exhibit hall, education sessions, Residential Summit, Affordable Housing Summit, Green Jobs Summit, and lunch (Wed-Thur), conference bag, credentials and the show program.

What does your registration not include?

There are ancillary events at Greenbuild that are not included in the full conference registration, which means that they are not included in the volunteer package. These items that are:

• Housing in the host city
• LEED Workshops
• Access to the Opening Reception of the Expo Hall
• Green building tours (unless you are volunteering for one)
• Greenbuild merchandise
• International Summit
• Affordable Housing Summit
