Who may receive complimentary press credentials?

Complimentary press credentials are issued only to reporters, editors, freelance writers and photographers working for specific publications and covering a beat that is relevant to the green building industry. Visit the Press Qualifications page for more details.

Where and when is Greenbuild 2013 taking place?

Where can I collect information about exhibitors?

Visit the Virtual Newsroom to easily browse exhibitor news and relevant information. Kiosks will be available onsite in the working press room to access the Virtual Newsroom. During registration, you may also opt to receive information from exhibitors. Media outlets who have agreed to receive information will be distributed to exhibitors starting in September.

Will there be a room available for interviews?

Yes, there will be a quiet room for reporters to conduct interviews.

What if I am qualified to register both as an exhibitor and as a member of the media?

If you are registered as an exhibitor and qualify for a complimentary press registration, you may exchange the badge at the press registration area during the show. Please note that to qualify for a complimentary press registration, you will be required to show a business card, photo ID, and a bylined, industry-related article from your publication written that was by you and published within the last six months.

What is included in complimentary press registration?

Press registration includes access to plenary sessions, the exhibit hall, all educational sessions, Summits and green building tours. Tickets to the Greenbuild Celebration can be purchased separately through the website.

Press registration also includes access to the Press Room and its various amenities. Meals are not included.

When I register as press will USGBC distribute my contact information?

Greenbuild exhibitors can request to receive the list of pre-registered media information. Media have the option to remove its name from this media list during registration.
