Increase Your Visibility and Reach

Greenbuild includes an opening reception in the exhibit hall, special promotions, exhibitor presentations and dedicated exhibit hall hours to ensure that you have numerous opportunities to connect with our attendees. In addition, take advantage of the ways our media team can assist your outreach to attending media representatives.

Reach out to media prior to the show.

Every year Greenbuild hosts representatives from hundreds of media outlets including trade press, local and national publications, broadcast and radio. We are unable to share the Greenbuild registered media lists due to our privacy policy, however we are happy to include your company in our own outreach.

Prior to the show, exhibitors are encouraged to send any relevant press information for inclusion in USGBC’s media outreach. Email your company’s 50-word piece to mcoleman@usgbc.org.

Display your press materials in the Exhibitor Networking Room.

All exhibitors are welcome to display press kits and other media information in the Exhibitor Networking Room, which is open to members of the working press and exhibitors. USGBC recommends about 20-30 media kits per company and you may stop by and restock throughout the show.

Information about the Exhibitor Networking Room will be available in late Summer 2010.

Set up a Press Conference or Booth-Side Briefing.

If you are an exhibitor with news to communicate to attending Greenbuild media, we highly encourage exhibitors to hold a booth-side briefing, as they are less formal, can be held at anytime during Expo Hall hours and allow media to have one-on-one time with spokespeople from your organization.

If you would still like to hold an exhibitor press conference, you may submit a 200-word synopsis of your intended press conference. Please focus this synopsis on information that will be of interest to journalists – is this something a reporter is likely to write a story or article on? Is this a promotion of a product or service, or is this something applicable to the industry as a whole?

Press conferences will be held Tuesday, November 16 - Thursday, November 18 in one-hour increments between the hours of 9am – 5pm, which means there are 24 slots available. Based upon the submissions received, 24 exhibitors will be selected and notified of their press conference acceptance.

  • Press conference synopses must be submitted no later than Friday, October 1.
  • USGBC will notify exhibitors who have submitted by Monday, October 18.
  • Once notified of their selection, exhibitors will have until Monday, October 25 to accept and select a press conference slot.

Please send press conference synopsis submissions to mcoleman@usgbc.org no later than Friday, October 1.
