Presenting at Greenbuild 2010
Greenbuild sets its educational program through an open call for proposals. The call typically opens during the conference and closes the second week in January.
Educational sessions for the 2010 Greenbuild International Conference & Expo in Chicago, IL are chosen by the procedures outlined below:
- November 13 - January 19: USGBC accepts proposals for educational sessions online.
- February 1 - 19: All complete submissions are reviewed and scored on a set of five different criteria areas. Each abstract is reviewed by a minimum of 7 reviewers.
- March 8 - 26: Topic experts are asked to identify the strongest sessions from among the top-rated proposals in each of 30 subject areas.
- April 5 - 23: The Greenbuild Program Committee reviews the top rated sessions and sets the schedule for the 2010 Greenbuild Educational Program.
- May 3: Speakers are notified of the final decision on their proposal.
- May 21: Deadline for all accepted sessions to commit to the conference.
- Mid June 2010: The Greenbuild 2010 Program is posted online.
- November 19 - January 14, 2011: USGBC accepts proposals for 2011 educational sessions online.
