Gain essential knowledge of the LEED for Homes rating system, including credit intents and requirements, strategies, synergies, and stakeholder roles and responsibilities. Learn about the LEED for Homes delivery model and fundamentals of the LEED certification process, including basic verification considerations. Engage in discussions and interactive activities based on real LEED projects to reinforce what you’ve learned. Required prior coursework: LEED 201: Core Concepts & Strategies or equivalent knowledge.

REGREEN 301: Implementing Residential Remodeling

Learn the unique factors inherent in residential retrofit projects, including business aspects; policies and incentives; professional and client roles in scoping, designing, constructing and maintaining; and green strategies. Engage in interactive activities using participants' own case studies. If you are a design and construction professional involved in implementing green remodeling strategies on residential retrofit projects and already familiar with basic building science and green building principles, this workshop is for you.

Learn how to apply the LEED for Homes rating system to a real project by walking through the phases of a typical project and the key decisions that project teams must make, including key stakeholder considerations. Engage in interactive, case-based activities that enable you to work hands-on with LEED implementation strategies and rating system tools. Required prior coursework: HOMES 251 or equivalent knowledge; familiarity with the LEED for Homes rating system is a must.
