Possible Credits

There are many ways to earn credit from GBCI and AIA at Greenbuild. The following education opportunities have been approved for GBCI and AIA credit:

Full Conference Pass: 12.5 possible hours

Seven concurrent education series sessions
Each education session is 90 minutes, totalling 10.5 hours if you attend sessions during all seven series.
There are 15 courses to choose from during each series
Credits can also be gained by attending off-site education sessions, held at the same time as the concurrent education sessions (1.5 hours each)
Two specialty updates
Updates may be worth 1 hour each, totaling 2 hours
Please note: only some specialty updates are approved for GBCI & AIA credit. Please see the approval spreadsheet for specific course listings.

Education summits

International Summit Education Sessions
Three sessions at 1.5 hours each - (4.5 hours)
Two plenary sessions at 2 hours each (2 hours)
Residential Summit
Four sessions at 1.5 hours each - (6.0 hours)
Please note that these are also included in the Full Conference Package, and overlap with Greenbuild concurrent education sessions

LEED Workshops

Half-day workshops: 3.5 hours
Full-day workshops: 7 hours
Please note that not all LEED Workshops are approved for GBCI & AIA Credit (though most are).

Tours

Half-day tours on Friday: 4 hours
Full-day tours on Saturday: 7 hours
